Our mission

Why do we care about helping people collaborate more successfully and sustainably?

Because we believe that the ability to collaborate is the most important skill for humankind. It may sound bold, but it’s true.

Every breakthrough, innovation, and transformative idea has been built on the contributions of those who came before us. We all stand on the shoulders of giants. No breakthrough in human history has ever emerged in isolation. While the myth of the lone genius persists, it oversimplifies a much more complex and inspiring reality.

Change is inevitable. Collaboration is how groups of people adapt and thrive before it’s too late. And at the heart of successful, sustainable collaboration lies psychological safety. We know this because we’ve seen both sides: we’ve experienced teams and organizations where it was absent, and we’ve witnessed the transformative power of teams where it thrived. Once you’ve seen what’s possible, there’s no going back.

But why should collaboration matter beyond your own team? Because, in the end, we’re all in this together. If the best ideas are not shared or if we fail to create pathways for sustainable change, we all know the consequences.

Where should change happen?

On a small scale, it starts with individuals and their teams.

On a larger scale, within organizations.

And on an even greater scale, across societies and humanity as a whole.

A single team or organization has the power to shape the future, well-being, and success of entire societies. But this can only happen when that team or organization operates at its absolute best.

Remote Team Builder coached the staff of Joensuu Lyseo Comprehensive School through a six-month development program based on the Remote Team Builder framework. The goal was to strengthen team cohesion and establish a shared agreement on our ways of working.

Even after the training, we have frequently revisited the topics covered and the shared agreement we developed together.
